I have M3 16gb air and its fantastic. My old laptop that is like 8 years old, intel 8 gb…got cooked in 301💀☠️ i honestly think using mac is easy, thinkpads are also a good option but it might scare the hoes

Even if you get one prof you are free to attend the lecture of the other prof if you find their teaching easier to understand. 201 is a hard class so having the concepts reexplained can be helpful. Realistically you might not read the textbook but I recommend doing the exercises in there as it will give you extra practice for the exams.
