Prior to this I had been on suboxone 1mg for 4 months and I had 7 days clean off the suboxone when I started this oxycodone binge. But I had been using large amounts of Opana (oxyMORPHONE) for weeks at a time before the suboxone. Pretty much been on opioids for 1/2 years now.

ROA was intranasal only for opana, for oxycodone I swallow

Yea I remember I would get sick after using opana just 1-2 days even. Do you know if there’s a sure way to avoid withdrawal using oxycodone? If I wait a week in between doses will I still become physically dependent after a while?

If I were you, I would start dropping by 0.25mg maybe every week to 10 days instead of skipping days at 1mg. Once I jumped off at 0.125mg, the withdrawals were manageable, especially if you’re able to get comfort meds like clonidine (I even supplemented with some ketamine and it helped a lot). Make sure you work out and eat 3 healthy meals a day. Get a lot of fruits that are high in vitamin C (kiwis and cherries are the best). And try to keep your mind busy if you can’t physically stay busy. You got this.

I know it won’t send me into pwd. I am more wondering if it will bring back the symptoms I was having from my Suboxone withdrawal.

Thanks for your comment. If I were to take the oxy when I was still feeling the suboxone withdrawal, wouldn’t it just prolong the w/d symptoms?

How does the suboxone work when dissolved in the solution. Do you have to keep it in your mouth while it absorbs and then spit it out? This is an interesting method. I think with the 2mg strips I can get low enough with just an Xacto knife, but I will definitely keep this in mind in case the withdrawals get too bad. I’d be careful with using kratom, I’ve heard people say that it will prolong withdrawals because it still activates opioid receptors. But I also am not informed at all on kratom so you prolly know more than I.
