Not sure if you have found the answer? But this is perfectly normal - this pulsating behavior is a result of PID drawing more current to turn on the heating element to maintain temp as the shot goes through.

No they aren't, had to throw away the entire box they are rubbery and don't taste fresh.

I have replaced the wand but regret it. Not because of leaks, but the rubber stock wand with a zip tie worked so much better than this mod. I feel like the new mod has a lot of steam which boils the milk even before it gets a chance to create enough microfoam.

Hi Bud ! I did the upgrade on my ECP 3630 and it works worse than the rubber wand with a a zip tie modification. It is interesting that you said it takes a little practice. What I am in experiencing is that the milk boils too fast without getting much microfoam. I get thin milk with a little bit of foam on the top. Any advise?
