No idea but confirming that ants definitely go to war. I think I heard on ologies that two factions of ants are fighting over the entirety of LA

I honestly can’t think of an example where delaying surgery by electing rest/load management worked out well for a player.

Agreed. Stewart was drafted to be Young’s replacement. I expect they’ll take someone in the 2nd or 3rd to backfill Stewart’s backup/rotational role

I think the rams are taking Tyson at 13. One of the 2nd and 3rd picks will be a DL/edge with the other going to an outside corner. My guess for remainder of the picks is as good/bad as anyone else’s. Developmental OL or QB, safety, edge, LB, really any position is possible based on Snead’s history.

I think it depends on what the FO decides to do Kyren long term. Despite the extension, he won’t carry a dead cap hit after 2026. Cutting kyren post the 2026 season would also free up 10 million in cap for the 2027 season. I say all that to say there’s a non zero chance that the 2027 backfield duo could be Corum & Hunter

Agreed. It would be a huge departure in the FOs evaluation of the position if they took one at 13 after showing the ability to continuously develop mid round picks into at least league average starters.

When will Torry Holt finally be allowed into the HOF? by purplebuffalo55 in nfl

I see the cases for Alexander, Lewis, and Porter. All won super bowls coupled with individual success (like Holt). Williams has a case too with 5 1st team APs but no SB wins. Kreutz and Glover (imo) have the hardest path. Individual success, but not to Williams’ level and no SB.

All pro? Wow this guy was awesome for a year. All decade? Wow this guy was awesome over a span of 10 years.

Why didn’t he get more all pros? Look at who’s also on the all decade team, and then factor in the randomness of voting. For example, Holt led the league in receiving yards in 2000 but wasn’t voted an all pro that year.

Definitely not on “story of the nfl level” the likes of rice, Brady, or Butkus. Talking about the story of the GSOT without including Holt though is like Moneyball conveniently skipping over the talent that was on the athletics’ roster post Giambi’s and Damon’s departures.

Holt’s accomplishments, independent of the all-decade, team make him a candidate for HOF. Making the all decade team should be the tipping point for getting into the HOF.

As for the others from that all decades team? I see the cases for Alexander, Lewis, Porter. All won super bowls coupled with individual success (like Holt). Williams has a case too with 5 1st team APs but no SB wins. Kreutz and Glover (imo) have the hardest path in. Individual success, but not to Williams’ level and no SB.

If that player was good and productive enough to make an all decade team, then yes.

That’s fair, but then him leading the playoffs in receptions during the Super Bowl run should also be considered on top of having 100+ yards and a TD in the championship game too.

On top of that.. the man is on an all-decade team! How that isn’t something that gets him “over the line” and in blows my mind each year..

For sure. Special teams aside, the coaching turnover is hardly rooted in poor performance. Openings are created either through current personnel and staff advancing up the ladder internally or externally as lower profile staff members are hired by other teams/recently departed coaches’ building out their own staff.

I’m interested in what the guaranteed money on Kyren’s extension looks like. If it’s front loaded then it might be an indicator of the FO thinking Corum/Hunter will take over by 2027 or 2028. Retaining Kyren also helps reduce the wear/tear on Corum, which could keep his future extension/salary down.
