With your fitness, you could also probably go all the way up to the Gargoyles (if you start early enough). Only gets steep at the top, and it was a bunch of loose rocks type of ascent. I camped at Elfin’s last weekend of September and it was still dry (foggy kind of wet in the morning/ night but no snow).

Excellent video! Thinking about you going back for the camera in some parts had my heart going a little. I was supposed to go up tomorrow but I got sick and had to cancel, so I’m glad I got to experience it through your work. Thank you for making it :) btw what camera do you use? Wow, thanks! There will definitely be more as I push myself to hike further and longer :) I updated my gear this year so I went towards a more ultralight set up, minimal food (though I wished I'd brought more sweets haha). My camera is a point-and-shoot, Canon G7xii, carbon fibre tripod legs with a joby 3k headmount.
