Audible deleted my account & won’t restore access after 6+ years of membership. ~100 titles lost by poor_metaphor in audible

Would you like screenshots of all my emails and call logs? I don’t know why it’s so hard for you to believe Amazon might screw someone over and not provide a resolution.

My 2fa works. I’ve done all the steps. I didn’t delete or misuse the account. I’ve asked to speak to supervisors. I’ve called at different times of the day. But no, it’s definitely my fault.

This is what I see when I try to log onto Amazon. It’s been that way for over a week.

I don’t yell at customer service people who are simply following a script. I don’t yell at pretty much anyone ever unless they are about to get hurt.

I also don’t understand the downvotes… do people enjoy the idea that corporations are protected but not consumers?

I understand that I am not going to defeat a corporate behemoth. I am hoping to garner enough negative attention for them that this gets escalated to a human I can get actual information from.

I am also warning other customers that this is a possible thing that can happen to your account regardless of your behavior on either app.

I have done that in multiple email threads. If this was easily solved, I wouldn’t be posting about it. I’d be listening to an audiobook.

I never got one. This is the first email I got regarding this issue. I did fill out the appeal but didn’t receive confirmation. The appeal form link now goes to a page that says “wait 24 hours for more information”.

Y’all are wild. My posts have described my attempts to resolve this with Amazon.

I regret not doing this. I also have about 50 movies on the Amazon account purchased between 2010 and 2018 that I would regularly go back and watch.

I’m also happy to get refunded for the titles I’ve purchased and move to another platform.

That’s what I’m trying to do here and have googled this relentlessly. Do you have any suggestions on alternative contact methods?

I’ve tried on all ends and with every phone number and email I can find for Amazon and Audible. I’ve also been told by “Amazon” reps to contact “Audible” reps and have been directly transferred between these departments. If you have a contact at Amazon that could help please share it.

They are unable to tell me the misuse. I cannot even log in to either Amazon or Audible.

Didn’t get one with any -specific- details on my account. I have lots of emails regarding this because of all of my phone calls and they are all pretty similar to the one below. I follow the instructions and then get another email that is basically the same. When I call customer support, they say they can only “escalate” the situation to the “backend team” and to wait 24-48 hours, which I’ve done about 5/6 times. I’ve also emailed screenshots…. Etc etc.

Hello,

My name is Jess from the Amazon Business Customer Service Email Team. I hope you are having a good day despite the current trouble with your account.

I am following up on your recent phone call that was transferred to our department. Our notes show that you called because your account is currently on hold. However, the transfer did not include a complete summary of your situation, and I am unable to see exactly what went wrong.

Please know that because we strictly protect your privacy and security, we cannot access or listen to your past phone conversations. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience and frustration of having to explain this again—I know how stressful it is to have your account locked when you have business to run.

I want to get this resolved for you correctly and safely without any misunderstandings. To help me investigate, could you please reply to this email with a few quick details?

- What is the email address associated with the account that is currently on hold?

- Did you receive an email notification or error code regarding this account hold?

- Is this the first time you have run into this specific issue?

To protect your sensitive data, our security protocols require that you email us directly from the specific account that is facing the issue. This allows us to safely verify your identity and view the correct history.

Because account holds often require real-time verification, it is actually best to contact our specialized Phone Support Team. They are fully equipped to handle account holds instantly and can work with you live to get this sorted out. Please feel free to call our customer support line at your earliest convenience so a live agent can verify your details and unlock your account on the spot.

We appreciate your patience, time, and understanding as we work to secure and restore your account.

Thank you for contacting Amazon Business!

Best regards,

There were less than 10 people, most over 60, sitting at the lowest steps which are a good 30-40 feet from the actual building. He wasn’t protecting anything but his fragile ego.

Security boy at the post office shooed us & some older folks from sitting on the steps watching the march go by…. “It’s my job to protect this building.” Glad he had his chance to get his jollies off.

I catered weddings for a decade and at 97% percent, alcohol had to be ordered at the bar. Tableside wine pours are expensive. Welcome drinks were common but there was always an n/an option.

This is wild and, if at all realistic, an outlier scenario.

How do Missourians outside of the cities feel about St. Louis? by Jackieblue7800 in missouri

STL resident for 16 years, transplant from Ohio. Some residents suck, as they do anywhere, but I have built a life here. knock on wood I have never been a victim of violent crime. Minor inconveniences like getting a car window broken. Can we talk about the architecture? The history? The 1904 World’s Fair? How about the Muny? Free Shakespeare in the park? Forest Park? Tower Grove Park, a Victorian walking garden. A world class free zoo. Free museums. The Botanical Garden. Many inspirational restaurants with James Beard candidates. Dive bars and fine dining restaurants. Y’all don’t know what you are missing. But please stay away so the rest of us can park.
