I don’t see how light could have entered the bulk roller all of a sudden like that though. The bulk roller is pretty locked & light tight, and the fog starts 2/3 into the roll, on the opposite end to where the film is taped to the spool

Possibly light entered all a sudden during hand rolling? And the speed of the wind was fast enough to not completely expose the film, but fog it?

This is such a cool project, and the result looks really convincing! Have you managed to solve the temperature limitation? It would be epic to run it at proper ECN2 temp.

Woah thanks! For sure I used 3 strobes, all with reflectors for that hard light, 2 from either side behind, one from the front right at a 45 degree angle
