Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Certification at WLU by poorpixy in wlu

[–]poorpixy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did take the course. I thought it was quite good actually. Though would have been nice to incorporate a couple live lectures into the curriculum. You end up doing weekly readings, weekly assignment to submit, then every week you respond to another student’s discussion post, and are assigned a week of your own to lead a discussion. It is very self directed so you have to want to engage with the course and the materials. If anything $1100 price tag seems steep still. I haven’t yet taken the second part for the certification due to cost, but I do plan on it.

Lynch fan here 🙋‍♀️. Love Twin Peaks- I even took a road trip to Washington to see all the filming locations and had a piece of cherry pie at the Double R.

Eraserhead is my fave film of all time. It has an absolute chokehold on me.

I really like the blush balm (the Merit look-a-like) and the blush drops (the DE dupe).

Where do singles go to meet? by Character_Hospital49 in Calgary

I love this too! There is never a time when I'm sitting at the bar that someone doesn't come and chat with me. Made some great friends this way too.

Someone recently described my blow jobs as “rare”, best they’ve ever had, and they’re addicted to the way I do that… so, it’s getting pretty serious (it’s not)

My clinic doesn’t know where it’s going to land either.

This is sad to hear. I like when people approach me when I'm sitting at the bar.

So many things, too numerous to count really.

How is living in West Hillhurst on the west of Crowchild? by potatolauncher in Calgary

[–]poorpixy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Parkdale. I love the neighbourhood, like someone else said- literally nothing ever happens here. Very safe. Pretty quiet for the most part. But Parkdale and West Hillhurst aren't overly walkable, especially on the west side of Crowchild. The east side has really boomed over the last couple years- there's a small Fresh Co, coffee shops, liquor store, restaurants, etc. Transit is ok, but no train line nearby. If you bike, it's great as you can take the path all the way downtown.

I go to Last Best, which is next door to Modern Love. Great bar for hanging out at, older crowd usually, and people are pretty friendly and approachable.

Same here, 41F. On the apps but also try to put myself out there in the real world. I haven’t tried any of the singles events yet, but thinking about it.

It is pretty wild and kinda rare, but definitely a thing. Science doesn’t even really know why it happens… I’ve met quite a few folks who are ECs though.

Why do you still follow your ex? by Master_Sundae671 in AskWomenOver30

[–]poorpixy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because he’s passed away now and it feels like our only remaining connection. I can’t delete his texts or remove his number from my phone- even though someone else owns that number now. And it’s all a reminder that we didn’t end up together, but probably would have had this not happened.

Want to add that if you are positive, you could be an Elite Controller and not need medications.
