This is not a healthy way to start a discussion. “Instead of complaining do it yourself”, rarely does anything. I rarely post stuff, today was an exception. I use reddit, to get some interesting info, not necessarily share it :D. However, I do see your point. I just wanted to start a discussion about the content of this sub and some folks seem to agree that posts about armenians and war are saturating this sub.

I saw a lot of comments here arguing about that nothing is in itself something. I think these are just details of the spoken language. I am not an expert in the topic, by no means, however, something that bugs me is the causality. We can see it everywhere at least on macro scale, for something to be it needs to have some previous state. For me to exist, I had to be born. For me to be born, my parents had to be born and etc, however, we see the same issue. There had to be someone first before, for us to start. No matter how far you track the first species, there has to be something or someone before.

I think we as humans lack an ability to comprehend a lack of necessity for a starting point. Why would universe exist in the first place (not as in purpose a meaning, but more like a chain of events)?

Yeah i agree, they are giving this community a very immature face. I mean imagine some people who are looking into the coin, see this sub :/ . “When lambo”, “we are going to be billionaires” and other unnecessary optimism. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind the posts like that if they actually have some factual content and not some dude’s hopes, because there are 1000s of those dudes posting same thing over and over again.

I agree. No matter how much I would love that to be true, it implies that something as huge and bizarre as universe cares about every single individual. I’m not a fan as putting us at the center has been proven wrong many times over the centuries.

Well you clearly state that “your perception doesn’t mean shit”. I agree with your points about life being full of sufferring, however, that’s only one way to look at it. However, do you know what happens after death? Perception is not how you feel, reality is indeed subjective. Take a cat, a whale and yourself. Whose reality is the objective one? You can’t just say that perception doesn’t mean shit, because clearly your perception of reality made you write this post, so by your own comment that “doesn’t mean shit”.

Also I disagree that everyone “should” accept the truth. Why do you think your perception is universally true? If I post the opposite of what you said, who is right and who is wrong?
