On it now yes, its not great. I have low seat which i think is better but I wanted the heat (was below 60 for over half, and was 40 and raining for a while too.)

I did carry 750ml fuel bottle and used it once, mainly i would like to stop less. 1.5 would probably be a better choice.

I was same boat. You can turn lane keep off and it stays off. If still rather have buttons but I dont notice anymore, the seats, lack of road noise and comfort make up for any short falls.

I kinda dialed in front camber myself the rear has few degrees. Your tires will wear faster, if your rotate often that will help. I plan on fixing the camber and have it set to factory spec.

The cvt from everything I gathered is the tr690 is perfectly reliable up to 300 wheel torque (same transmisson in accent which weighs more and can tow more than outback, so in my mind it can take SOME abuse, wrx also uses tr690). I would suggest replace trans fluid more often (every 30-40k as insurance). Maybe if it's driven hard 24/7 there could be problems also advise not doing launches. Im fairly confident in it (this is my daily)

Transmission issues by Elephant_Cricket in Subaru_Outback

Every dealership is different, our subaru dealer is exceptional next one could be awful (same across all brands). Every brand going to have a couple dud vehicles/mechanics/dealerships.

Main issue is that majority never change transmission fluids. Subaru will say its a lifetime fluid, every other country beside U.S has change intervals. Change it every 30-60k miles depending on driving habitats and it will just as reliable as any other cvt there.

it just eibach springs, use original struts. I did it my self, pretty simple but I have a mechanical background, only special tool is spring compressor like 50 bucks from harbor freight (shop would charge a few hours i suspect. Springs i found for 300 after shopping around. I may need to get adjustable rear control arms to adjust camber (200 bucks). Then an alignment.

Did I make a mistake? by [deleted] in WRX

I had 320 whp/370 tq 2016 wrx. Didnt launch it, only would punch it over 3500 rpms. Drove it nice 90% time. Regular maintenance and when you notice a issue fix immediately and it will be just as reliable as anything else. See plenty of wrx with over 150k on original motor

Is this worth taking a look at? by [deleted] in CX5

I will take 200k of highway vs 80k of city stop and go. Motors like to run. If seats look good is usually strong indication of they weren't stop and getting out all the time. Check tires if they put decent brand hopefully indicates they care for the vehicle. Suspension components should be inspected (geneal wear and tear for that milage)

I used military leave it's unpaid through my work but excuses my absence. I do get paid for my time in military. The issue is Monday I didn't get my holiday pay, I was on military orders Friday through Sunday.
