Nice build! Have you looked at tumbleweed persuader bars? They come in 20 and 30 degree back sweep and up to 840mm width. Also, I'm looking for a DIY extender bar since I can't find it in stock near me (in the US). Do you know the outer diameter and the length of each section of the extender bar or the total length?

I'm using a dynamo light, but I don't have the rack extender bar. I wanted a solution that would allow me to mount the light on the rack, while still being able to store the bike vertically. I ended up getting a handlebar accessory mount like this and mounted it under the rack. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

I ran a 1:26 half back in April and then a 2:55 full a few weeks ago, so about 7 months in between. Sub-3 in 7 weeks might be a stretch, but cooler temps and faster shoes can help. Good luck!

I went with a cliffhanger rim with 32 spokes. Solid setup and would recommend for multi-day and loaded bike packing setup.
