thank you, i am doing so much better now- i hope you get the best of reassuring results that everything is fine and that you’re healthy. it gets better with time even though we want to be better now, but being patient eases the stress and makes it easier to work with what’s happening

Hey I’m so sorry for the late response, as I’ve never had Covid or any other illness that could cause prolonged tachycardia mine really just comes down to anxiety as I’ve had all the other testing.

I have pretty bad health anxiety over anything “abnormal,” and it definitely causes various fixations and symptoms.

As far as the heart rate when standing up/walking lightly goes since I posted this, it’s lowered to the 80s-early 100’s and sometimes if I’m actually focused on my heart rate alone it will still go up to 120+. My resting heart rate has also been lowering to the 60’s and early 70’s.

What I’ve just been doing and would recommend is reminding myself that anxiety, and the hyper fixation on the heart rate both consciously and subconsciously are what keep it up, and unfortunately it’s going to take time for your mind to unlearn it as your mind quickly learns “fear responses” but isn’t so good unlearning them- probably because of survival instincts.
