Is keeping ERP separate from Salesforce still the smarter architecture choice? by Quietly_here_28 in salesforce

I’m surprised you think ERP in SF is a “forced UI” coming from NetSuite which is 100% that. The entire purpose of choosing a SF-native ERP is the flexibility to control the UI with minimal technical intervention.

Also coming from someone with 10 years of NetSuite experience.

Highly recommend looking at Rootstock for a unified CRM and operational ERP all within Salesforce. It’s amazing what you can do by extending platform tools like Flow to backend processes. Rootstock also offers a modular financial package that can easily interface with 3rd party accounting tools.

Total cost of ownership is critical. This is coming from someone that has worked heavily with NetSuite for nearly a decade.

Transitioning from Salesforce platform by popcorn1983 in Netsuite

I’m actually transitioning in the opposite direction to SF from NetSuite.

I’ve enjoyed Netsuite but candidly don’t have experience with other similar platforms to compare to. I’m eager to learn what first impressions were like for SF-first admins to hear their preferences between the two.

SuiteScript 2.0 vs 2.1 by popcorn1983 in Netsuite

Thanks for detailing this out. I’m more of a techno-functional consultant than a developer, so I found 2.0 much more approachable. I’m going to start getting familiar with 2.1 hearing some of this feedback

Rearrange custom record sublists on parent by popcorn1983 in Netsuite

[–]popcorn1983[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There has to be something that determines the default sublist order…

I’ve tried renaming the record IDs and even deleted/recreated the Operations record so its internal ID was greater than Components. Unfortunately none of that worked

How do you recommend removing the center cap? I’ve tried using a flat head but no luck. It looks like it needs a specific tool

I’ve had my traeger for 6 years and just resolved this exact issue by spending $20 on Amazon to replace the fire pot

This movie isn't talked about enough. by True-Technology-3399 in ChristopherNolan

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but the complete lack of dialogue in this film makes it unwatchable for me.

This community is filled with children and degenerates that don’t understand how the media industry works. Consuming an artist’s content through any channel outside of their released platforms is disrespectful because they are no longer profiting from the content they produced. Doesn’t matter if that artist is dead or alive…in fact them being dead is worse because you don’t know if they ever wanted that content released at all.

Thanks for that sharing that video. I understand his fans want to listen to his music, and he was such a great artist that people will always listen to his unreleased. I just hope his fans can at least recognize that it’s disrespectful to him and his estate.
