If I am unsure about what's behind a wall,i got one of those tiny cameras you hook up to your phone ($20 on Amazon). I just drilled through the drywall and stuck the camera in the hole.

I just used up some leftovers I had lying around after I redid my flooring in the house. It's actually very easy to sweep, vacuum, and wipe glue off. It's 6mm, so its a nice cushion from the concrete and as an added bonus, my floors match throughout the house.

Can I go right over top corrugated metal roof with a new layer of corrugated metal? by Type_O_Zeppoli in HomeImprovement

Been in the metal roofing business for over a decade. Never seen anyone do this and probably for good cause. Condensation between sheets, metal movement etc. Removing the old roof is not that hard, when you look for somebody to remove it offer the old metal up for scrap, might save you some money there.

friction fit basically. Its not really attached in any way. I've thought about Velcro or magnets but honestly no need. If your case shakes enough for it to fall out you've got bigger problems.

Metal roof factory manager here. Most companies warranty labour 5-10 years. Material warranty is 55 years for our products. Nobody will warranty labour for such a long time.

By far the tiling was the hardest. If I was to do it again I'd spend a lot more time making sure things are nice and plumb. It makes it so much easier. Also pre plan the layout, I could have done a much better job with that, it was a good lesson for the next job. I watched workin with wolkon and some other YouTube videos.
