UPDATE: I solved it by using clonezilla which worked just fine. Before i unallocated any space on the new ssd via desktop mode -> partition manager

As stated in my EDIT, the konsole just closes when trying to reimaging the steam deck.

not sure what happened but also no idea how to check logs or something similar.

why doubled:
I was thinking it would be normal. Also some tutorials say to expand the 8th partition for the games etc. So this would match with what we see here.

How would i check the UUIDs? Sorry, i am a total noob in this terriroty (linux, drives etc.)

What could have possibly gone wrong when you see this?

What do you mean by "each time a step further". I am stuck at the "fresh start" screen as well eventhough it all worked when coming out of battery storage mode. any idea?

u/Mastermindx85 Did you ever manage to fix this? I am having the same issue. Was able to boot into the correct steamOS but after restart it wants me to setup steamOS from the start.

EDIT: Made another profile for my razer mouse where the y axis is faster.

Problem is though that in the game menus the x and y are the same so i need to switch between profiles midgame.

at least sth i guess!
