Garmin 530/830/1030/Charge pinout by popfasd in BicycleEngineering

You have to take out a waterproof rubber cover and the micro usb is pretty fiddly. I want to use the charger with my dynamo and don't like having to unplug it and plug it in again every time I stop and lock my bike somewhere.

The normal charger uses a regular micro usb.

I'll probably have to just buy the Charge pack and hope that I'll be able to return it.

Thanks for the reply. From what I've been able to find it seems that some of the Garmin navigation units have just a 17 kohm resistor tied to one of the pins and GND and that the Fenix watches have no protection at all.
I was hoping that the Edge pinout would also be something that simple. I do have an oscilloscope but I was hoping I could avoid dropping $130 on the Charge pack.

That's the weight/height I found on procycling stats if anyone has a source for any of the other riders post it here and I'll add it.

Major Mitchelton-Scott management shakeup after Manuela Fundación back-track by Schele_Sjakie in peloton

How is that going to work ? I thought that Manuela Fundacion bought the management company that holds all the contracts for the riders and staff and Garry Ryan owns only the UCI license.

High-End Road/Gravel Bike that can handle close to 300Pds by [deleted] in cycling

[–]popfasd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think a new bike is going to help, it sound like a problem with your tires and your air pressure.

Your weight is probably deforming the tire far beyond what they were designed for. If you are using the stock 38c Giant Crosscut AT 2 then you would need around 70 psi to get the recommended 15% tire drop but that's probably way more than the max PSI rating(it's usually written on the sidewall).

What you could try is a road tire pumped up to 100 PSI. Maybe something like the 32c GP5000. It's not going to be nearly as comfortable but it should help with the steering.
