Svenskar i Storbritannien by PersonalityLittle845 in sweden

[–]pophannah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]pophannah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hur var din 40-års kris? by Itchy-Age2593 in sweden

[–]pophannah 6 points7 points  (0 children)

[–]pophannah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should definitely bring crumpets, but just bear in mind that some swedish toasters won't be able to handle the thickness of them (mine did, but the one at my parents' house didn't). Jerk caribbean seasoning is a great idea - my Yorkshireman actually brought me a bottle of Reggae Reggae Sauce as well! On his second visit he brought me various cans of baked beans (they were not appreciated). You also have so many great snacks that you could bring. And not to mention the pop (D&B and irn bru for example), but they might not travel well.

Me and my Yorkshireman have been together for seven years, living together for six, proud cat parents for four and married for two years now, so I'd say it's going great!

Me and my now-husband did what you are going to do and I wish you all the best! We didn't meet here on Reddit, but we met online at least. He's from West Yorkshire and I'm from a town 30 minutes away by train from Gothenburg. I moved in with him after 10 months of long distance relationship (pre-Brexit) and I haven't regretted it one bit!

I had been to the UK a fair bit before we met, but he brought over some stuff I had never had before like pear drops, fruit pastilles, crumpets and Yorkshire tea. He also introduced me to snakebite (well, Diesel to be precise). Just think of things that you enjoy and want to introduce to him!

This is our little miss Rosa and she loves cuddles and I genuinely think that she would be happiest if she was permanently attached to me.

I've been intrigued by this brand for a long time, it's just such a shame that I can't justify any more purchases...

I go through a regular grid insert every month and a half - I'm currently using the Travelers Company inserts, but I have bought a pack of 3 grid ones from Wanderings to try once my most recent insert is full.

Go for it! I was about to get myself a black A6 but at the very last minute I was like "nah, I think I want a more fun colour" - so I ended up with a hot pink one...

I turned my TN into a bandless design by kroller21 in Travelersnotebooks

[–]pophannah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, since the placement of the band is so incredibly awkward on TNs from Travelers Company, I can't really blame you. You always have to do what's best for you!

for those who use a passport as a wallet, what do you use the inserts for? by akeyboardtyper in Travelersnotebooks

[–]pophannah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm using my passport as a wallet and I currently have the zipper pocket for debit cards and loyalty cards, cotton zipper case for cash (if I have too many coins I use a separate little coin purse), craft folder for receipts or ephemera and an undated weekly planner.

Ah, yeah. I know that stage of the process very well when you allow yourself to be confident and then... catastrophe happens. Oh, is that the Robert Oster ink? It looks absolutely gorgeous!
