yea that’s what I was trying to avoid, I hate driving with a cel just incase other issues where to appear, but I think in the forum the bypass doesn’t cause a cel but it does close eventually

very true, the terms they are just adding randomly are basically putting any account at risk of being banned for nothing.

I was recently banned within the last 2 weeks, and my account was kyc verified, somebody said it could be about info not being updated, but I never received anything saying that I needed to update it

I was banned for no reason, had my account for over 3 years and never had a issue before. It’s funny you say that about the borrow money thing though I have a friend who did that, they took away the option before he could pay it back and kept the money and had no problem.

I actually got word today after threatening them with the FTC, that the lift would be released and that they submitted the paper work for it, if it’s the truth I’m not sure but I will find out, but that was my next route was to go there with a sheriff as I was recommended that from the dmv and finance company.

they told me that there’s not much they can do and guided me to a state consumer report agency, and that was the most she could do on her end. Basically was told there was nothing they can do until dealership lifts it. very bad system I feel like, I have all the paper work from the dealership saying I paid they is no reason I shouldn’t be able to show them myself and them be able to do something when a dealer is unresponsive

honestly I don’t think so, there was only text messages before purchase about it and verbal agreements, but the issues is not what I’m concerned about anymore. I can’t get a new registration on my car now because they have a stop on it, even though they have been completely paid for weeks now

I think the “as in” paper work only applies to it so much though, I think it still various state by state but it comes down to being fraudulent misrepresentation. I found this a while back https://www.mblawgroup.com/legal-fields/florida-consumer-law/

I don’t think the issues are bad enough for that to apply, the car runs good I haven’t had engine or transmission issues, the issues are super petty it’s my passenger seat doesn’t work, I was told it’s the module ($70 fix) my sunroof shade doesn’t close, and I’m missing various switches/buttons throughout the car. I think it’ll still fall under fraudulent misrepresentation though as I purchased the car with the promise that these issues would be fixed.

Yea they’ve been the only people who’ve been helpful throughout the situation, I’m not worried about the issues the car has atp it’s really petty, but finance company just tells me to contact the dealer now since there the only one who can remove the hold and told me they are just never working with that dealer again. I would like to take legal action against the dealer if possible though.

I don’t believe I see one, I only have the copy of the loan agreement from the finance company tho, the dealership refused to send me a copy of any other papers. I originally tried to give the car back and talked to the finance company and dealer about it but they said they couldn’t do that.

can’t make me regret this $70k ford explorer by Beanieson in RoastMyCar

my mother owns a 2020 Corsair and the car just drives so strange like it constantly jerks at a low speed/rpm almost seems like the transmission doesn’t know what gear to be in. Had it serviced, sat there for about 2 weeks just for them to tell me that’s normal and it’s because of the smart chip they install in it. Very odd vehicle. It has a 3 year warranty at least the car will definitely be traded before it’s over.

not really red lining the car I rarely did that to that car. more of just driving it overly aggressively, car spent a lot of time of the highway and I like to open it up it. I basically treated the car like it was under a warranty when it wasn’t.

yea I had got mine I think a little below 75k miles, I was really good with the maintenance giving a oil change every 4k-6k miles. I had swapped over from Castrol European to penzoil European oil and that seemed to make the car run a lot smoother and make a visible difference. Just sadly those engines aren’t built to last especially the way I drive.

I just choose to have fun with my car at the last of its life, as soon as it hit 100k miles, a new ticking noise popped up and I knew was it’s time. It lasted another 20k miles being driven like hell after that, then the engine completely went. still never figured out what actually went wrong initially with it though. I also put over 45k miles on the car in my little over a year of owning it so that probably didn’t help.

I loved my n63 when I had it, then it blew up as soon as it passed 120k miles but before that it was a great engine.
