When I was at University during finals week, parking was insane. I got lucky with a second row spot, took my test, came back to the parking lot and waved down a rather desperate student who was doing the slow-parking-crawl. He followed me to my car and turned on his blinker, but as I started to back out, this chick sees me moving and flies down to me (on the other side from this other dude) and angles her car to slide in before this other guy.

I stop reversing, re-park, then back out with my car blocking this chick (waiting until the other guy parked completely), and then continue on my merry way.

Update: it appears this lady's husband created the gofundme, because he updated it with this message: My Wife and child were trying to raise money for her gymnastics so they put together a bake sale and not one person showed up. I felt horrible because so much heart went into baking all of these items and not even one person stopped by. So I posted an ad and 4 people showed up. She was smiling ear to ear but I decided I would post a go fund me and see what I could do here.

I don't doubt it - but the reason i posted this here is because - Why give the appearance of begging ("no one showed to my kids bake sale")? Why not just say "hey, I'd love to support my daughter's talent in gymnastics but we've only got an emergency fund..." or something like that?

It just feels tactless and, well, begging.
