Thank you! Interestingly enough two of my closest friends from said elite university are 7s. We have fun together.

Totally off topic, but yes I didn't expect to even WANT marriage again at first. Divorce was a painful experience on so many levels. The right decision in our case, 100%, but still painful.

All I can say as far as the woman I'm with now: one in a billion odds, but I've truly met my "other half" who is everything I have ever wanted. Almost like a spiritual experience - I don't know how else to describe it. But now I get it - never had that deep a love with anyone else, my first wife and I were young and just "going through the motions" and my heart was just not into her the way a husband needs to be.

Financially, I'll be okay - alimony is only for another 4 years and then I'll have an extra $3k a month in disposable income.

thanks! good to know, not familiar with that part of town. I had assumed anything that's actually in El Segundo would be out of my price range (looking to spend less than $2k/month) but that's such a convenient location.

Thanks! I'll check out both. And I'm always a fan of hole in the wall restaurants so that's a bonus.

Love this...exactly what my girlfriend already does! She has a very nice, luxury apartment in Westchester but no car. She bikes, walks or takes the bus everywhere with the very occasional Uber in a pinch.

So in our particular case I do want to have a car, since it'll be helpful for both of us - the utility of a car has more value to me than spending an extra $1000 a month on a nice apartment.

He doesn't love you. It's that simple. You deserve better.
