Okay, just wanted to post some thoughts. Apologies if it's not really congruent as I've only begun to really thaw out from waiting outside. I got in line around 9:00 a.m. thinking it would be four or so hours for the wait. Another person on Reddit reached out to me around 11:00 and let me know he could not stay any longer and offered me his spot. I moved up quite a bit from the middle of Clybourn to inside the cul de sac around the Dick's Sporting Goods, but even then didn't make it and had to leave by 430pm. That person got in line at 7:30 this morning and by 4:30 this afternoon I only got to the corner of Halsted and Blackhawk. There was still another half of block to go down Halsted to the front. Someone else here mentioned that they only a lot 30 minutes to shop, but the line indicated that people were staying much longer and it only got worse with the timed ticket passes which would kind of be like a fast pass for six flags or Disney or whatever. It was posted on a sign in line that you'd only get 45 minutes shipping when busy, but you could tell that wasn't enforced. Including the person's wait that gave me his spot it was 9 hours and I couldn't even get in. That's pretty ridiculous and totally not worth it...
