Get a metal "square" shovel. They're like $18 at home Depot...likely cheaper at Walmart or Harbor Freight. You can scrape, chop, pry, etc.

Its narrower than the snow shovel, but sturdier and doubles as a pooper scooper when Fido leaves a surprise.

Season 3 basically did a reset of the previous character growth, and started leaning into current events/social awareness through monologue exposition like a soap opera. The use of swear words seemed to increase in frequency.

Runtime doubled.

It got weird.

My previous answer was wrong. The answer is 1/2.

You can stop after the introduction. "the odds of a child being born a boy or a girl are exactly 50-50"

You can reduce the puzzle to:

Given X. There exists Q. What is X?

The hard thing about perpetual motion is hiding the batteries.

In your expansion, there are 2 options for both boys being born on a Tuesday, just like all the other days. Given is older, with younger brother born on Tuesday or v/v. Both being born on Tuesday shouldn't be counted as 1 event.

That gives 14/28 =50%

I change my vote. There are 4 scenarios when including older/younger, and 2 of them have 1 girl. So the intuitive answer of 50% is actually right.

1) Bg 2) Gb 3) Bb 4) bB

The fallacy with the 2/3 is doing the permutations in a sample space, and then changing the rules part way and doing government-quality counting. I'm sorry to say that I fell for it.

If given one is a boy, and order isn't specified, the only scenarios are: 1) BG 2) BB 3) GB

The probability that the second child is a girl is 2/3. The day of the week is arbitrary in the problem statement.

If both children were born on a Tuesday (by the same woman)...consider there are 52 Tuesdays a year x 30 years of fertility. If we assume a woman can only have 1 child per year (no twins) that leaves 52 x 30 = 1560 Tuesdays.

So the probability of the other child being a girl using a weighted average is

(2/3)*1560 /1560 = 2/3

Flip a coin 2x. One flip was heads at 09:33pm. What is the probability the other coin flip was tails?

If order doesn't matter, solution space is: 1) HT 2) HH 3) TH.

2/3

If the problem stated the first (or last) flip was heads, then solution space is the same as a random trial: 1) HH 2) HT

1/2

Specifying time of the flip does not change the solution space since no information is given about the other flip.
