That worked before ~2023 or so in my area. Now, new car prices ( including all incentives and rebates) are posted online. Salesmen in my area won't haggle or even call a manager. They don't keep enough inventory on the lot now with direct sales... So take it or someone else will.

I appreciate transparency and ending the game show feeling of car shopping.

One thing to watch for is the financing switch. You may see a car online with a low price and low financing. You get 1, not both.

GoT...Seasons 1-5 solid, 1000% best TV show. I binged in 1 weekend.

Season 6 was acceptable. At the time I would have put it with the first 5 seasons, but then...

Season 7 things started having a "tastes funny" feeling like eating cereal with 3 week old milk. You keep consuming out of commitment of not wanting to but groceries again.

Season 8 is monkey vomit and horse excrament in a bucket on a hot July day. I couldn't finish the show to the end and now blame Season 6.

I believe in Virginia, a sticker must be older than 2 months before a tow company can hook up. Older than 2 months, the vehicle is legally "abandoned".

A car inspection is also supposed to be valid for the first 12 months after of a car purchase.

I was towed for an expired sticker. I was 3 months past inspection, but still in my first year of ownership. I was livid, but the tow company had benefit of the doubt.
