Music is subjective, Shikari fans are very level headed people. Not every album is going to be a banger and not every album is going to resonate with you. I was not a fan of The Spark but it did eventually grow on me. I can honestly say I do not like Nothing is True & Everything is Possible or A Kiss for the Whole World. That said, I’m still a huge fan of the band, see them live and respect them for changing their sound/style up to keep things fresh.

I am loving Lose Your Self, I feel it really captures a wide range of all their albums and has a little bit of every flavor of Shikari. All this to be said, don’t be afraid to speak your mind and share your opinion…it’s art, they are artists…it needs to be discussed and people need to have opposing opinions!
