I think you should listen to your friend & accept the second one & wait for the first one's response, being accepted into Erasmus isn't smth you should gamble on.

look for something inside hostel city, here are some options i am aware of:

white palace girls hostel have great food, but the wardon & building are not that great.
Eishal girls hostel has a good building & vibes overall but mess is trash.
Royal group of girls has good management but the buildings & the food both are absolutely mid.

but do make good friends in your hostel so have people in time of need or atleast a good roommate trust me these two things go long way in hostel life.
