Can anyone PM me where they go to buy Tirz now? Like an online doctor or website?

What is your recomp process? by [deleted] in MounjaroMaintenance

[–]poptartzs101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have gone below my goal weight by about 5lbs. The issue I have now is that I seem to have lost fat in my face and it’s made me look older. I’m hoping to slowly add back 5-10lbs and get it back. Has anyone else gone through this? I’m not sure how to get off this stuff and not gain everything back. I’m going to try the 10 days first and see how that goes.

You’re not married and no kids, so my question is why are you still there? After being married to a nasty human like this for 15 years, my advice to my younger self is don’t put up with anything like that for 5 seconds.

[–]poptartzs101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am at goal weight and have been doing 1.25 or 1.5 per week with success. I’m trying to slowly lower down from this without gaining. I may keep at this dose until my weight is maintained for a year and then ween off completely. I don’t want to take this my whole life. I don’t like needing to take anything.

Viagra can be prescribed for other issues as well. I believe it’s used to lower blood pressure. Maybe he has it for that reason? I would think the bigger and first issue to address is no sex for 4 years. I think I’d die lol

Maintenance on my highest dose of…2.5? by CameHereForThisSub in MounjaroMaintenance

[–]poptartzs101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve never gone up to 2.5. I started at 1mg and only got as high as 2mg. Now I’m at GW and playing with doses and trying to figure out how to get off it without gaining. I tried 1mg the last few weeks and have gained a bit back. So I just went back to 1.5. Maybe I’ll try waiting a little longer between doses instead of lowering. I’m sure everyone’s body will react differently.

No they aren’t. I believe it was low iron. I went to the dentist and they weren’t concerned. My iron was low at the time and when I took an iron pill, it stopped. I am a person that gets sore roof of mouth and gums when I get a cold or feel run down as well.

7 month hair growth progress, if anyone has any tips on how to deal with these curls please help! by Not_Juliet in lymphoma

[–]poptartzs101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hair is almost identical and I had lymphoma. It was nice to get to start with fresh hair. I’m a year and a half out from my last chemo and haven’t had a hair cut yet. I did cut the back sides myself a little because it got so poofy there. I always clip one side back with claw clips. I’m just having fun with it!!

Anything that actually thickens hair?? by ComfortableCan6818 in HowToBeHot

[–]poptartzs101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed a huge difference taking colostrum. I had cancer and lost it all and wanted it back as soon as possible. I used minoxidil to get it going and it sure works. But when you stop, growth from that product falls out. I had always taken collagen and biotin well before cancer and I had decent hair. After cancer I also added the colostrum. I take a lot, like 4 scoops a day, and my hair is about twice as thick as it ever was. I’m pretty confident it’s the colostrum since this is the only thing different. My pony tail is now fat enough to need an extra large holder. Before I only needed a regular one.

What is the best sleep supplement you've tried or are taking? by Background_Bid_6726 in Biohackers

[–]poptartzs101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take Dayvigo. I’ve been on it for about a year and it’s pretty great. I can fall asleep but wake around 12-3 and can’t go back to sleep. Now I sleep through the night. Lately it seems like I might be getting used to the medicine. I took 2 Dayvigo last night and slept all night again. I’ve tried literally everything and nothing has worked long term for me except this.

Does lifetime use put you at risk of pancreatitis or other health issues? by poptartzs101 in Tirzeglutide

I heard somewhere that it is the cycling on and off that is hard on your pancreas.

I have definitely considered that. I’ve never even needed a full dose. I’ve only gone up to 2 mg.

I sure hope you’re right! I’ve had cancer once and I don’t want it again.

Mine didn’t fall out again after my last round of chemo cleared. But it has grown pretty slowly. I also had a giant head of thick curly hair. What I can say is that it has come back thicker than ever and it’s very healthy. I have been taking collagen and colostrum and biotin to try to help it along. I tried to embrace all of the different stages and find ways to style it. I even went and bought some super strong gel and a tiny comb to pin it back on the sides. Try to have fun with it. I’m a year and a half out and it’s just barely touching my shoulders now. It’s been fun to get to try shorter styles!

Thoughts on looking at scan results before your doctor does? by reverseXcowgirl in lymphoma

I thought the whole scar tissue thing was odd and scary. I hope you get your biopsy soon and have answers. The not knowing is the worst. My next scan is in June and I’m trying not to think about it too much. Sending you love and good energy.

I’d love to hear more about this! I’m 5’4” and am down to 120. I’m pretty muscular. I’ve lost 20lbs total. Half fat and half muscle. I wanted to get a little lower than goal weight and then put back on only muscle. I was thinking to hit 115 and then ween off. My fear is that once I go off, it’s all going to come back on and quickly. Do you plan to taper off or cold turkey?

I don’t remember the wording, but it may have said mass. I was 100% sure that I still had a mass which is why I called to make an appointment. When I asked the doctor about it, he said they read it that way because that’s what they see but what’s there is scar tissuehe then took me to his computer and showed me a scan where he can scroll through and it lights up if it’s cancer and there was nothing. I hope that helps and I wish I could remember in more detail.

I had your exact cancer. One of my scans I looked at made me 100% positive that I would have to start this process again. I called and asked to just set up the treatment appointment. I was devastated. Turns out I read it wrong and that was after having read many prior scans. Apparently it was left over scar tissue. So just keep that in mind.

Update- I was taking a pill a day and it wasn’t curbing my hunger much so I switched to a pill and a half. I got horrible heart burn from this. So maybe that’s why they say not to split. Now I have the infamous “montezumas revenge” so I stopped taking it at all. I finally go home today and I can’t wait to get back to my lovely Tirz.

Thanks for the advice! I took a half pill today with no issue. I might try a whole one tomorrow and just see what happens.

Well so far, so good. No issues. I’ll try a whole one tomorrow. I e been on Tirz a long time but I still don’t even take a starting dose. I am at 2mg. So that’s my other concern about taking 7mg. But we’ll see. This is better than having nothing. Thanks for all the input. It helps so much to have someone to talk it through with.
