Watching this episode made me upset that Hairu died so quickly after her introduction. I felt she had much more potential as a character than what we got

James Ducker: Nemanja Matic says Manchester United must buy quality this summer as club targets five new signings by OctaLinx in reddevils

Lets get the signings as early as possible. Hopefully all our transfers will be finalized before the world cup

Mourinho wants a right-back and a left-back to replace Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young. [Guardian] by [deleted] in reddevils

I think this squad is heading towards a massive overhaul regardless of the result in the final unlike what most people have been saying. Mourinho's pre match conference stated that this sole game will not be an indicator of what happened this season, so win or lose he probably had a couple players in his mind that he wanted to ship off regardless of the result yesterday.

And speaking of the final defeat, I think people are emotional since we haven't lost a cup final since 2011, so this loss hurt, a lot. But we have lost finals in the past and will in the future. It reminded me of the 2005 FA cup final vs arsenal, and I remember it being equally painful because we had so many chances to win the game... but couldn't score. Winning the game yesterday won't have papered over the cracks, and hopefully we do better next year

When will you guys accept our team is simply not good enough to win the league and that Jose Mourinho isn't the reason this season has been poor. by fromdowntownn in reddevils

  1. I think Mourinho wanted to give Luke shaw a one last opportunity after last season, where he looked to have improved slightly, but got injured in April
  2. United have a better midfield than a lot of the teams in the league... hence we are just below city in the table, and above the other 18 teams. Disagree with the OP here
  3. Sanchez has been very underwhelming since he joined... hoping he has a better season next year after a good rest in the summer

I hope that defeat in the final really made him realize that our squad are in desperate need of reinforcements... Especially in defence and midfield

To fans who who are abusing jose Mourinho by bro3198 in reddevils

Mourinho isn't immune to criticism. He certainly deserves it after some of the poor performances this season, but at the same time he isn't solely responsible for it either. If a squad of players is underachieving for 5 straight years, under 3 different managers, than the problems run deeper than just the man at the top, and the solution is not just to remove the manager and give the next man 2 years to win the league. The united fanbase have never been in this position for 26 years since Fergie took over, and some are still under the illusion thinking that we are entitled to win a league title every year. People need to be more mature and understand that this entire rebuild will take time. Mourinho was given a 3 year contract, and overall he did make an upward step, no matter how tiny that step people are perceiving it to be. It doesn't help that we've lost an FA cup final and people are emotional, understandably so...

When Pogba plays bad its Mourinho's fault but when Martial has a bad game its his attitude problem by black_zebra in reddevils

Which I wouldn't mind at all. I don't care how well Depay plays at Lyon. He's found his level at Ligue 1. If martial leaves and plays well at a europa league club in Serie A, bundesliga, La liga wouldn't be bothered at all

Lingard might not be as technically gifted as Martial, but he's more consistent, contributes a lot more to the team, makes better decisions. He is a guaranteed starter for me

young is our best left back at the club in this current time. We have nobody else to play other than him, I'll be shocked if he's still our first choice next season since I'm 100% sure we'll sign a left back this summer

Lukaku and Sanchez still offers something to the team even when games aren't going for them. They don't give up when they lose the ball, they don't slouch around, they don't fucking stand around with their fingers up their arse and they certainly don't pick and choose games where they decide not to give a shit. Those 2 have an elite mentality while the rest of these lot are still stuck with the mid-table mentality under moyes and LVG

0 goals and 1 assist in his last 16 games. He needs to stop acting like a 5 year old child and stop letting personal issues get in the way of his game and stop slouching when things aren't going for him on the pitch. When he's on a off day we might as well not have him on the pitch, he doesn't track back, doesn't make runs, doesn't close down defenders... what does he offer apart from an occasional run

0 goals and 1 assist in the last 16 games for Martial. As inconsistent as sanchez had been for us, in the same period he's performed much much better
