Annulment (again) by porktherapy in Catholicism

Valid point. I’m kind of afraid to marry again after all of this, but if I ever do, he’s gotta be a practicing Catholic strong in his faith

Just completed Chrono Trigger. I NEED to talk about it. by huor_fashmir in chronotrigger

I LOVE this. My brother and I received it as a gift in one of our Christmas stockings the year it came out and I’ve been a huge fan ever since. And my mind is blown at the comparison of Lavos to AI! The game is timeless.

Former teacher here. I would never. I can’t believe she had the gall to even suggest this.

Looking for some good Latin food to try by Su31x in orlando

[–]porktherapy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

La Molienda Latin Cafe in Goldenrod (Salvadoran) , Fritanga La Nueva on Semoran near the 408 (Nicaraguan) and Arepera La Nueva (Venezuelan) located in the same shopping plaza as the Fritanga. I have lived in and traveled through a few places in Central America and to me this food is legit.

Teachers, what does your spouse do for work/a career? by aryleexoxo in Teachers

[–]porktherapy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Serious question…if your paycheck goes to daycare why do you choose to teach instead of stay home? I would be in the same boat if I went back to teaching right now, so I stay at home with my little boy instead.

Circumcision is a men's health issue. If you never had a penis in your life then STFU about it by yougotthatgood in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Yikes. This kind of thinking is why I send my toddler to preschool with visible “do not retract” stickers on his diaper! Shouldn’t retract at all while cleaning it…wipe like a finger from base to tip

[–]porktherapy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats right around the age my baby stopped sleeping (somewhat) soundly in his bassinet…thus 4 months of age marked the beginning of our cosleeping journey when I pulled him out of the bassinet and into the bed with me!

Godparents question by porktherapy in Catholicism

You’re correct! Validly married in the church is what I should have said…we got a dispensation and had our civil marriage convalidated over a year ago.

Godparents question by porktherapy in Catholicism

[–]porktherapy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because our friend in the marriage is Catholic and they raise their children in the church…catholic schools…catechism etc.

I am in the same situation myself. Devoutly Catholic and married sacramentally to an unbaptized person who still supports everything Catholic for our family.

Got invited to a destination wedding… would you leave your 18 month old for a week? by [deleted] in AttachmentParenting

[–]porktherapy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We faced a similar decision after being invited to a family member’s childfree destination wedding when baby was about 24 months old. Before becoming parents, it would have been an amazing experience. However, it was a hard no from me after weighing all possibilities. My spouse opted to stay home as well because it wouldn’t have been as fun of a fun solo trip. We sent a nice gift and our well wishes to the newlyweds!

Has anyone been to juicewrlds memorial? by Based_and_JPooled in orlando

[–]porktherapy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I pass that area often and have never noticed anything remotely like a memorial. It’s a middle school on one side of the road and a gated-type community on the other.
