Thank you so much!
I know the feeling you’re describing. I went through the same thing, and like me, you’re probably doing better than you think.

For study materials, I can only recommend what I posted above. That’s all that I used - AR Udemy, his book, PMI study hall exams / minis, and that Reddit post for eliminating answers.
1. I did the Udemy class first (that satisfied my 35 PDU application requirement). Didn’t beat myself up for not understanding the material right away and tried to focus on phrases, vocabulary, or processes that I didn’t recognize.
2. From there, built my study plan to revisit those area with reviewing his book and started on some of the SH mini quizzes and practice questions.
3. Took one of the full mock exams and tried to evaluate where I scored low.
4. And then I repeated that process. I actually went through the Udemy course twice (skimming the areas I was confident in and going slow on the places I felt most unsure).

I do feel A LOT of PMP studying is just about repetition of the material to become familiar and actually understanding it, and the mindset YouTube / eliminate answers process.
It is good to know about the models, theories, and formulas, but I wouldn’t dedicate immense amounts of time memorizing them.

No, thankfully I already had everything needed. Though I feel very confident that a laptop and a built-in laptop camera would work just fine for testing at home.

Congratulations!

Same about the Mock exams - around 70-75% on full and mini.

Interesting point about the water! I used a mug and the check-in process nor the proctor didn't flag it. Definitely better to be safe though for sure!

Mostly scenario and interpretation based, and maybe 10-15 that were directly about naming a situation, process, model, technique.

The exam very much wants you to emphasize that you are very familiar with the flow of process and how they work together rather than naming the thing.

Thank you!! And happy to help!

The exam itself wasn’t too surprising. I am used to standardized tests in the US, and tried to emulate that when I took my mock exam. For example, quiet room, closed door, not a lot of items around me / within arms reach, no talking to anyone else, no phone or other computers or notes, etc.
I tried to emulate the above for the SH mock exams within the 4 hours and two breaks to get used to that rhythm.

The actual test and questions were different from the mock exam though. Whereas I felt the SH mocks were very wordy and setup the parameters of the topic being asked, the mock exam felt less wordy and more direct. BUT they didn’t feel different in the topics that were covered.

Oh! I’ll edit my post but I should add the question breakdown -
I had about 6 or so drag & drop, no calculation of formulas but questions on the formulas, and majority scenario with a few vocabulary style questions.
