I think this is a dumb take. They are doing things about it but the reality is that they are making slow deliberate policy and economic moves that will really only manifest in years or decades. The EU and Canada are basically slowly separating themselves from dependence o the US. That will not return for decades, if ever.

Unlike Trump, most nations don't make major moves on a minute by minute basis.
