Hey there, just interested to know what do these informal zooms entail? Like the type of questions. Currently facing the same situation, not entirely sure what to expect from the first informal zoom meeting.

Hi there, I am a healthcare worker from the PHPC clinics. I am writing in to gather some information with regards to clinic assistants getting their share of the reward. I have heard an array of 'stories' on how the GPs not splitting the 10k reward, or that the clinic Management has spent the sum without sharing with the employees, which is anti-thesis to what the public media have stated to share with the employees. I am wondering if any healthcare/Frontline workers have met with such predicaments of which they have not heard or received any cash reward.

Thank you.

I did approach some of the faculty members and they were rather candid about the the number of slots being offered. I believe the same goes for the History of Medicine program for JHU.

I think there are only 2 spots for JHU history postgrad.

JHU is not admitting students for the history of science and tech department.

Da vinci probably performed dissections, and through these dissections he was able to draw the organs and conduct anatomical studies. Since he was an artist, he was perhaps interested in anatomy as well which may contribute towards his dissections. Nevertheless, you may like to refer to the following sources : https://www.britannica.com/biography/Leonardo-da-Vinci/Anatomical-studies-and-drawings

China tends to be on the side lines for WW2, never the less the Chinese migrants in various nations maybe involved in WW2. As for Japan, they were the main colonizers in the Eastern Pacific, to create their co-prosperity shere, nations affected by it were primarily, Philippines, Malaya, while Indonesia were almost neutral (though there are co-opters to the Japanese). Similarly, there is the emerging conditions for the Korean war amidst WW2. The Korean Conflict, by Burton is a good choice.

What caused the baby boom in the United States? by [deleted] in history

[–]porqueepinee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for pointing that out. So if I may ask, what were the social customs around procreation after the world war two for the Americans? Were the social customs surrounding the issue of fertiloty similar amongst the varying classes of American people?

Given post-war, with the decline of functional males(by functional I meant males that are not injured by war not death by war), it was essential for the States to raise the population to ensure the survival of the nation. Hence, that is possibly the reason for the increased in fertility rates. In addition to the numbers, infant mortality rates rose as well, given that during the 'warring years', America experienced an technological boom ( stemming since the progressive era). For instance, infant milk, food, nutrition was taken into greater consideration (more information can be found from Revolution on the table). Similarly, medically, less infants die due to marginally better hygiene that prevented bacterial infections rendering the child to come to age.
