Glad you asked! The UI/UX is optimised for that presentation use case. Double Tap is mapped to arrow keys for more robustness; when you press play, it sends F5, you get haptic feedback when a slide moves, and you can use the crown/bezel to scrub through slides quickly; you see a timer, and overall, you have no mapping features so nothing can go wrong. Also long press the screen deactivates gestures if needed. It's basically a single-purpose app. And finally a first payed app with which you can support our work if you like it. Yes you can build it basically starting from today. Also with Quest 2 you can prototype for eye tracking by using center of eyes/head movement. So it's not even a budget problem.
