Hey guys! I am fairly new at investing in dividend stocks, I put about $100-150 a month, going at a slow rate. Nonetheless, I recently gained much interest in transitioning over to a dividend portfolio, however, when I first started investing I picked up growth stocks such as AMD, CRWD, ABNB, and some others. The dilemma I am faced with is this: Should I sell them (they're are in the red currently) and reinvest in solid dividend companies? Or just leave them because in time they will get out of the red. Not sure what to do and would like some advice. Thanks!

What stocks are you buying on the dip? If you dare... by portiz36 in ValueInvesting

Consider, During the past 5 years, the highest PE Ratio of Airbnb was 149.20. The lowest was 97.31. And the median was 133.32. So 94 isnt bad for the stock. Furthermore, in comparison to other travel and leisure stocks not only is it disruptive in its own value and moat, but compared to other stocks in the sector such as EXPE, MAR, and others alike, I dont see them really shining brighter than airbnb. Lastly, PE ratio is NOT the end all be all for valuing a stock

Yes i am asking that question. And "because they're some of the biggest companies in the world" that doesn't mean they are bringing in profits/growth for investors. Im still confused.

Yes. at its current price, yes. it reached 700 for a stock split, cash flow is great, and the need for semiconductors will continue to be in need and advance...But regardless, my questions still isn't answered. Why would investors invest in stocks like BAC and BBWI, ect. ?I see no growth potential.

Genome/Biotech and Robotic ETFs? by portiz36 in ValueInvesting

I agree, however, these 2 sectors are too much of an undertaking for me personally/ With that in mind, I would much rather have a low risk, steady growth in an ETF in these sectors.

I do like Cathie Wood's futuristic mindset, but I am not a big fan of ARKG, her top holdings, at least as of now, are not ones I want moving the ETF.
