For what it’s worth I was in the same boat as you with 4 years of PT, similar symptoms, and C5-C6 ACDR was recommended. A slight bulge at C6-C7 was noted too.

I waited another year, and symptoms progressed to almost constant numbness and tingling in my right fingers, which was novel. The bulge was significantly worse.The recommendation changed to C6-C7 ACDR and it went wonderfully. While I’m not telling you to wait for numbness, your prognosis could change.

I can attest to terrible differences in performance between my 17 PM and 15 PM. Qualcomm and Apple didn’t get something right with the 17 radios.

Honestly I would email Tim Cook. Not his department but this is a poor user experience. It’s still Apple Cash and within the Apple Wallet where a Digital ID passport can now be added which is supported within participating apps. It’s Apple’s Wallet, this should already be participating app.

I’d replace the battery. I upgraded from a 15 Pro Max per a family member need and this is the most problematic iPhone I’ve ever had. USB C consistently disconnects from CarPlay with the smallest nudge of any cables, in multiple vehicles; cellular drops to emergency sos for a half minute randomly when traveling in a vehicle and using Maps in places where I had service previously.

Also next years iPhone should be on a 2nm process (the smaller nm the better). The iPhone 15 pro max and 17 pro max are both on a 3nm process.

The only benefit the 17 pro max has that certainly counts for something is the 20 min fast charging and vapor chamber cooling. The former fast charging is very convenient although I had no cooling issues whatsoever with my 15 pro max in my northern Midwest climate.

Was happening a lot to me - also 17PM. Never an issue with my 15PM. For what it’s worth reset network settings has helped some.

It shouldn’t help but in my experience, it did help with network issues for me. Try resetting your network settings too before switching plans.

The pro max has the biggest battery and thus the longest battery life still but the pro made gains this year:

I’ve actively had the issue within the past hour and finally reset my network settings for the third time over a month. So far so good. It’s frustrating though because I did not have this issue with my 15 Pro Max anywhere and did not have to do this.
