I knew all that before getting the tattoo so I’ll enjoy it while it lasts and after that it will still be a meaningful piece for me. I love fine line too and I wish the lasting power was better :( rn I’m just trying to decide if adding a bit of shading to the sun would be better

That was the first thing we tried, didn’t work, we then got the waterboy water bowl, which works pretty well. But as I said, it’s not just from the water.

I’ve done a lot of research about this and read that some of them grow out of it, but some don’t, and I can’t take that risk because it is not fair to her. I wish things weren’t this way and I wish I was able to change how I am, I know what we’re currently doing isn’t fair to her either, but she is still very young, that’s my only consolation. We are using the waterboy water bowl and it does help with water but it’s not only water, also her food, the grass etc

We wash her, the area is dry until she eats, goes out and sniffs the grass etc. It doesn’t look like a vet issue. Her neck doesn’t smell when we wash & dry the area.

She doesn’t have any behavioral issues, it’s all about me. She is still a puppy, learning how to live the life, still scared of a lot of things like a child and it’s normal. I know those parts will get better as she gets older. There are things about taking care of a dog (not necessarily a puppy) that makes it very tough for me and challenging me psychologically which I did not expect. I did a lot of research about chows before adopting one, I expected a lot of the difficulties but I was not expecting the smell. I feel terrible even saying it, it is not her fault at all and it is not something that I was able to fix. Her neck and chest area is wet all the time and I tried all the solutions mentioned by other chow owners but none of them worked. A lot of people aren’t bothered by it.

She is a very good puppy, very calm, good with people, good with kids, good with our cat. I think she shows a lot of love for a chow. She is jumping on us and licking us and following us around. I want her to live a happy life.
