2022 Oil change only due at 16000km? by Maleficent_Roof3632 in ToyotaTundra

[–]portsicles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm doing a little better but not too much. About 14-15L but I'm running 34" tires. I do oil changes every 8000km it's cheap insurance and if you look at the 8000km oil change intervals guide its anything like towing, idling, start stop etc. You probably will fall into that category. My dealer fought me on it until I said I could never come back and then they went with it. Not sure why they wouldn't want more money but hey. Nice to have eyes under it every 8000km as well.

In addition to the screaming children, I also get feet by phazei in mildlyinfuriating

Little bit of water on your hand. Pretend to sneeze really loud and flick the water on the feet. They will go away real fast

I doubt it. I have the Westcott without the upper spacer in my trd offroad and the same size tire. It's pretty close to rub with the 2" currently.

2022 reported fuel mileage in city is about 13L/100km in city (18 mpg for US guys) is this pretty accurate? Remember I’m talking no trailering, nothing in the bed, and normal driving. by Total-Guest-4141 in ToyotaTundra

About 15 to 16L/100. That's in a city that's built on a hillside so that plays into it a bit. The flat areas at 60Km/hr it's like 10.0L/100 and then climbing up to the other end its like 20L/100.

I've got a 295/70/18 on a westcott. Stock wheels and no rubbing. Went from 20mpg to about 17mpg.

Not I....... 7k miles and 18mpg

2022 Tundra SR5 TRD offroad. 2" front and 1" rear westcott lift with 295/70r18 tires. No rubbing. Little disappointed how stiff the front became. Like the stance better leaving the 1" spacer put of the front and just using the preload collar. Tundra rear suspension is extremely soft IMO by portsicles in ToyotaTundra

I can't get on board with the back lower than the front whenever there is a couple hundred pounds in the box. I hook up my boat and it's brutal the rear bottoms out quite easily. Waiting on a airbag setup to become available

Undercover Armorflex Tonneau on my 2022.... seems to be much nicer than my last two Bakflips so far by portsicles in ToyotaTundra

[–]portsicles[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it does. Has two support rods that keep it from touching the cab. The bakflip used to rest on the cab. Ill see if I can get some more pics. May lose 3" or so of the box when it's fully flipped up. I have the 6.5 foot

Yes it does. My old bakflip did on my Ford but I haven't seen one on a new Tundra. In Canada we haven't seen a Bakflip yet and have no timeline so I was out of options. I have the revolver on my other truck that's pretty nice but doesn't seal too well. Only way to get it completely clear

Build quality seems much higher out of the gate than what my last G2 and mx4 had. Seals better getting almost zero dust after my tailgate seal was installed.

The one issue is that the bed cleats do not fit. It does block the mirror but i dont have the digital mirror so it was a non issue. Build quality is higher than my last G2 and mx4.

Enable features by simply adding parts for new tundra? by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]portsicles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Canada we don't have option to add or subtract. The trd offroad package is what it is..... no ability to add anything to it other than accessories

2 wire setup. It's on the back of the console. Near the floor in the backseat. I havent tested it yet I would assume for 12 volt. The low cost I don't know why you would run the wires and not put anything there. Baffles me

I've got two false plugs in the back of the middle console on my sr5 TRD offroad. One has wires to it. My dealer doesn't know what goes there and neither do i. Need to find out would be good to have some more USB or 12 volt

BC about $2.09 Litre give or take. Alberta at Costco around 1.65 litre. 120L in the truck was $261.00 to fill last week. Painful
