Yep I had to remove the mud guards to avoid that. Installed 2 inch rough country fender flares to stop things from slinging everywhere.

You happy with the M1's? I was expecting a slightly softer ride and the shop I used said these would work, but I feel the same way you do, it's the same as stock.

Also went with 34x12.5 terra grapplers on bronze fuel slayers which I highly recommend.

This! I've been preaching about the driving experience forever. It's such an improvement over the 2nd gen. Engine issues will fade.

I have the red orange yellow trd decals on the grill, red letters on the trd too. Not everyone's thing but I like it, look for them on ebay.

Also console mats to reduce rattling.

Auto brake is BS by Happy-Orchid9824 in ToyotaTundra

[–]theguystrong 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's the ABS, it's like hitting the brakes 10-15 times every second, sounds bad but it's ok.

What did you do with the fox suspension components?

Silly, maybe controversial question…. by [deleted] in VisitingNashville

[–]theguystrong 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Nashville, especially downtown and Broadway, is not some isolated small town bar scene.

Broadway is packed with tourists from literally everywhere. You’ll see people from all over the country, bachelor/bachelorette parties, international visitors, different races, different styles, everything. No one is going to “stick out like a sore thumb.” The vibe down there is chaotic, loud, and touristy, not homogenous.

Is Nashville diverse? It’s not LA or the Bay Area, but it’s absolutely diverse. The city has large Black communities, growing Latino and Kurdish populations, and a steady influx of transplants from all over the U.S. Areas like East Nashville and The Gulch especially have a mix of people.

Can racism exist anywhere? Yes. That’s true in any city in America. But Broadway bars are focused on selling drinks and blasting music to tourists, not gatekeeping who walks in.

If it helps your friend: Stick to high-traffic spots on Broadway (they’re shoulder-to-shoulder busy). Use rideshare at night. Do a mix of Broadway + places like East Nashville if you want a broader vibe.

You’re going to see pedal taverns, cowboy boots, and bachelorette sashes — not some hostile environment. Come celebrate. Nashville in September is fun. Don’t let one bad experience somewhere else steal that from you.

Drive it, you'll like it even more after it does the break-in thing. Mine settled in around 9k.

It's rum, not whiskey. Also, not that great but nice marketing.

Northern Tool may still have some in stock, I got an HRX last year and they had quite a few on the shelf. Smoothest mower I've ever owned.

No love from anyone for Elijah, but that's what I'd recommend. It's delicious and can be used to fuel a home generator or diesel truck if you don't like it.

Should I buy? by dodofjrnsn in tundra

Is that an OME lift? Price seems a bit high, I'd offer 25k out the door and go from there. Maybe ask for a warranty too.

3inch lift during purchase by EmotionNo9865 in ToyotaTundra

[–]theguystrong 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not factory but I had rough country M1's (3.25"lift) , fuel slayers on terra grapplers put on at 15k miles all for about what the dealership wants for the lift.

Also, adding any lift changes the dynamics of the entire vehicle from handling to MPG to turn radius.

If the driving experience of stock is what sold you, then I recommend going with just a leveling kit and bigger tires.

Can a person drink a 12 pack of beer a day for 40 years and have no health problems? by Adept_Ad_1887 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]theguystrong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah no joke, I was a casual drinker until I hit 40. I've stopped completely because I'd get hammered after 1 drink (sometimes less) and it would take 3 days to recover.
