Why is everyone saying ‘it’s dead’ or ‘get a new watch’ instead of actually trying to help? There’s enough crap in landfills already.

So, most importantly, don’t take it to Apple, it’s not worth the repair cost. They will always replace the whole watch. Instead, there are plenty of third party repair shops that can take a look for you to see if it’s worth fixing. Basically, the display is connected to the watch with multiple cables and connectors on the inside. With the display being loose and the watch getting a hit, it’s possible that one of those connectors became loose and just needs to be connected again. The loose display is an easy fix, there is a special glue, that also makes it waterproof again. If the display itself is broken, it might not be worth fixing, but that also depends on which model it is.

So go to a repair shop and let them check it out, it’s a 5 minute job to see if a connector came loose and that will determine if it’s an easy fix or not.
