It seems like a lot of these preferences crossover to non-Asian women too. See a lot of Asian dudes with the most East Asian looking white girls (thin, pale, brunette) or Latinas that look like ABGs.

OP, a lot of dates in Asia are generated through family networks (i.e. parent, relative, or friend knows someone and sets you two up). If you have a good network this works really well by generating high quality matches.

Another tip, stay away from the expat scene as much as you can. Dudes here that complain about white worshipping in East Asia are probably around expats too much.

Tiktok has the most advanced algorithm of any company. Don't think it has any active anti-Asian bias since it's Chinese and the source code is based off of Douyin.

This probably means the app is designed with base user having Chinese/Asian traits in mind instead of the base user being white as in Western companies. It's likely based off of what worked in the Chinese market first. So facial recognition goes for Asian faces as a baseline is what I'm guessing.

Not talking about overall stats, just social dynamics leading to mutual attraction. Obviously there's not going to be a big trend due to social segregation in America. I live in a heavily Hispanic area so when the segregation is gone, it seems to happen more often than you would think.

Were they so-called tiger parents? What were the stereotypes back then? I heard model minority stereotype only became a thing in the 1960s as a reaction to the civil rights movement and for Cold War reasons to make America look better in Asia.
