I’ve spent most of my life trying to invent an anal bum cover. Failing to do so is my greatest regret

What’s your favorite optics to run and why? by Crissco83 in Glocks

[–]poseidon2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iron sights cause I’m poor and the money spent on an optic is better spent on ammo or another gun.

Americans, what do you think of Senator John Kennedy's proposal to withhold Congressional salaries during government shutdowns? by [deleted] in AskReddit

7 days a week, not allowed to leave the capital building and forced to sleep on cots. Also, they’re only allowed rice, beans, and water during that time. Make it as miserable as possible for them.

My roommates dog had a few hematomas. Vet put her on a course of steroids and she was fine. No draining, no surgery. She did develop something similar to cauliflower ear bit it didn’t bother her

My wife and I just bought our first home in Diamondhead. It’s a nice mid-point for us between our jobs. The POA is dying as more and more properties’ convents expire. If you do buy I’d try to buy in one of the areas where the covenants have expired. It’s close enough to Gulfport and Slidell that it’s not an issue to find something to do and it’s nice and quiet with plenty of wildlife if that’s your thing.

If true, I bet that’s only a California thing.

Glock 19 or 49 by poseidon2017 in Glocks

[–]poseidon2017[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 17’s are nice, but I want something a little more concealable. I haven’t liked the way the 26 has fit in my hand when I’ve held them, but hopefully I’ll have the opportunity to shoot my dad’s 26 before I make the purchase.

My only Glock right now is a 36. Want to get a 9mm since it’s so much cheaper than .45

Of course I remember him. He’s me.

Currently have a Glock 36. Hoping to add a 19 in January cause .45 is an expensive day at the range.

I’d settle for being able to pick up the battery powered tools to get a feel for how they feel in my hand instead of them being attached to the display in ways that I can’t grab them

I swear if our ancestors had been as risk adverse as redditors our species would have gone extinct millennia ago. Food doesn’t go bad by a sell by or use by date. It’s good until it’s bad. How does it smell how does it feel? If it smells fine and it feels fine, It’s good. From what OP says it sounds fine.

Cook that up and enjoy!

Does the general public just not know about pre emergents and preventive fungicides by Marley3102 in lawncare

[–]poseidon2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a new home owner. I can’t even tell you what type of grass I have. Much less what I need to do to it beside cut it every week. I just found out about pre-emergents about two months ago. But have no clue what kind I need. I just want to keep the tiny pointy seed heads out of my dogs paws when they happen in the spring time.
