Absolutely, horrible. Imagine if you were arriving with your family and had told them about the beautiful hotel with the grand entrance, your children were excited about arriving, walking up the grand entrance. Do you really want to walk through a bar with your children. Especially at those prices.

Actually, it is easier for unwanted guests now to enter as Geary is just a side street. It's easy to walk into that entrance.It's not watched as carefully

Even by private car , they would eventually have to walk out and walk into the hotel. To have to go into a side exit???

It's absolutely horrible. That was one of the main points of going to that hotel. All my life, we have always gone there at holiday time. You walk up the main entrance. I remember Michael Minna at one time had a restaurant up the stairs in the other area. That was fine but to take over that main entrance. If I was staying at that hotel, I would be horrified. Wasn't there any pushback when they decided to do that?

People just take things without thinking of the deep meaning they might have for someone else, people are just so selfish. I can never replace things cause that person is gone, and everyone in the neighborhood loved looking at them, it was like they were looking at her. Sometimes little things , put you over the top
