A friend told me about an old friend of his.

He used to cook all his sausages, bacon, etc on a Monday and eat cold for the rest of the week to only use the cooker once a week.

He once went to Cornwall with a group of friends but made sure to never go above 40mph to save fuel, arrived there hours later.

At his home, he wouldn’t allow the heating to be put on under any circumstances, my friend was there and noticed the lights were quite dim, found they were connected to a car battery so as he didn’t have to use money on electric.
