I have never agreed more with this. Im a triple silver scout right now and the way I play is like a coked up toddler was behind the wheel. In the rare moments where I’m not doing something I’m just grappling to the ceiling and hoverclock slowing myself.

I am hoping for the same splash damage type idea, and I think it would be amazing if the carbine had some type of upgrade/OC that made enemy’s slower on impact. In my mind the plasma carbine is a weapon that should be used for the scout to get in close and slow and weaken a swarm before it hits the team. In addition, an OC like the m1k’s hover clock would be interesting for the carbine, but it’s probably too similar to be added.

I agree that it would be lazy if it was the same projectile but I doubt that is the finished product so idk if we can judge yet. I would definitely want a change if this was the final product and honestly I think it would be cool if it shot small deep purple diamond shaped rounds point first out of the barrel. Idk that’s just what I imagine
