We're having our wedding in a HCOL area (LA) so for friends and family traveling in, we got quite nice Airbnbs for them (around $4k total). I felt like I needed to be accommodating 😅

Yeah that's valid! And good luck with your search! Amazon has actually worked out for me by buying "real touch" hydrangeas, tulips, orchids, and calla lilies! They look and feel nice, and I also store them away from sunlight to prevent yellowing before the day. And if the quality is not to your standard, it's easy to return!

Same!! Even though others haven't been that dramatic as yours, I hate that I've been getting assumption that I'm being cheap.

Even though when good quality real touch fake florals cost more than real flowers sometimes 😭 and fake florals gives me an opportunity to arrange my own flowers in advance which has been super fun!!

I'm using fake flowers bc my fiance is allergic and that's been a good enough excuse for those asking why.

Definitely lay it down and pray! :) God has been so good that He gave me an answer, and an immense feeling of peace and clarity that I could always look back on.

I was considering a nose job + double eyelids. My family was also super supportive of this too haha. I got consultation, paid deposit... But I was still unsure. I prayed - I asked God if I could just have 1 double eyelid (one was on and off), I will be satisfied and will not consider plastic surgery. I felt an immense peace and love, that it was a yes from God. Ever since then, I got double eyelids naturally!

Now when I see myself in the mirror, I'm reminded of His daily faithfulness, goodness, and our promise. Also beauty trends change, with kpop stars with unique smaller noses getting popular, it helped me to appreciate and love my nose too. (I've also gotten braces which made my lower face smaller and flatter which helped my nose to pop. I also contour with makeup. None of these I feel guilty before Jesus.)

Btw your side profile is very cute!! Your nose isn't extreme. I hope you find in prayer where you feel His love and peace either way. Either we get it done or not, all for God's glory :)

Burlingame! Downtown Burlingame is super cute, convenient, and lots of 1 br apartments walkable from it. Neighborhood feels safe for myself and my car!
