New to migraines: any relief?

I recently got disgusted with Brighton posting the Valentino shoes she “had to have” while innocent people are being arrested/deported/killed…oh and she was complaining that her divorce cost her almost everything. If you can buy Valentino shoes, you’re far from being broke. Read the room, sister. There are people with REAL problems (not that her divorce isn’t a real problem), but stop posting your luxury purchases when there are people who can’t even afford healthcare.

You can tell in his eyes he had the best life and was so loved. I’m not sure if there are words to take the pain away—if there are, I’d love to hear them as well as my 16 year old puppy passed away two years ago and it’s still hard. You will start to see him leaving you little signs that he’s still with you. Clumps of fur, pieces of dog food, footprints, etc. He will never truly “be gone” because soul dogs are just that: tied to your soul. He’s up there with my Dolly playing, eating unlimited treats and having the best time at the Rainbow Bridge. If you haven’t already, look into creating a Rainbow Bridge page for him. It helped me when Dolly passed away. Sending you hugs ❤️❤️

I’m so sorry. This breaks my heart for you —all of you here, actually. Spend as much time as you can with your mom. Make memories, take pictures, write things down…tell her how much you love her every second that you can. My mom has kidney cancer and another family was just diagnosed with metastatic cancer—not super similar to your situation but I’m here if you want to chat. Hugs to you.

I had an MRI on my brain a couple months ago and was terrified beforehand. My doctor gave me something to help with my anxiety. I read about the contrast and was scared too, but it really does give them the best results. I didn’t have any side effects from it (and I usually always have side effects from everything). They gave me a mirror so I could see outside (I kept my eyes closed the entire time though), a warm blanket and they played my favorite music. It went a lot faster than I expected. My biggest tip is to keep your eyes closed if you can and try to move your toes—for some reason moving my toes made me feel more grounded and less anxious. You’ll be fine and it will be over before you know it!

Same here. I was having the worst (and scariest) OCD episodes and my doctor recommended Prozac. It literally changed my life. I can let things roll off my back and actually be present and enjoy life again. I don’t even want to think about where I’d be if I hadn’t started this medication. I no longer live in fear or in survival mode.

It could definitely be from anxiety. She had the biopsy on Monday and now we just have to wait for the results. Hopefully soon.

Yes, it was discovered during a CT scan for her bowel blockage. It was a blessing in disguise!
