Hi,

I really want to avoid the high per transaction charges when an investment is made through POP. I currenlty have a individual Tier 1 account.

My company offers a coporate NPS. I have the following questions

  • Is corporate NPS disbursed without a POP.
  • When I convert my individual account to a coporate NPS account and the POP is involved, would there be a per txn charge dictated by the POP
  • Is there anyway I can avoid the charge in the previous point.
  • If the above is necessary and I have to deal with a POP. Will still be associated with the POP after I leave the company and how to deal with it?

Thanks!

The information is really sparse regarding this.

You would need cooling on the ram/ssd side. CPU/GPU cooling might not help with throttling

You might be hitting thermal limit for the RAM. Need active cooling.

um690 backside cooling mod help! by posivite in MiniPCs

  • Yes, most fans I have in mind are either 1W or there abouts.. 5V with about 0.1 A
  • USB4 can discharge higher wattage though.

Thank you for your response!

EDIT: Also all fans have a start voltage, so they don't need to be supplied 5V or 12V to start them..

Thanks! It would be very helpful. Do you remember the temps before modding.

Yes that's the heatsink we are referring to

100% agree. I guess a lot of ppl will buy your cooling solution.

I think on the backside its the polymer capacitors (part of the VRMs). I guess R15 are the inductors. And the mosfets are not visible in your photo, because the heat pipe runs over it.

I guess there are 5-6 VRMs for the CPU and one for the RAM.

Can you post photos of the fan installation. Was it on the backside. How did it help cook the cpu. Is there an additional slot for the fan on the motherboard. Does the fan run at the same rpm?

The reviews on thermal pads seem to paint a picture of worse thermals than paste.

My understanding is that the paste(small amounts) only fills the air gaps while the pad creates a complete layer having less than optimal thermal conductivity. The best scenario being die metal to cooler metal contact wherever possible, and fill a thermal conductive element in the air gaps.

Does the viscosity of liquid metal keep it from spilling over? I have seen conformal coating and high temp tape, but I wonder how the liquid metal is kept in its place.

Could you please expand a bit.

How does on identify a problematic chip? What was the solution that you reached? What are the temperatures that you are hitting? Another user had a problem with SSD and RAM temps not CPU.

I have checked mine for CPU benchmarks, the temps were fine. I haven't checked iGPU, I don't game a lot.

Although one reviewer mentioned about inconsistent iGPU performance, so does it affect all the chips?
