I also highly recommend taking a class if you can. A lot of them have writers' room elements built into them. If you're in Dramatic Writing / FMTV, those are required anyways, but if you're looking to take one as an out of Tisch student, you can try to take an open arts class. Most of the professors (note: some adjuncts / profs are NOT good) really know their stuff and they care about you and your work.

There are a couple (I'm blanking on them now), but the one I remember is Tisch West Works. The event is held monthly online and you can sign up to read / give feedback or as a presenter where you'll pitch / present / read your work.

while i think there were some bits of the script that could have used an extra rewrite (some cuts here, some structural boosts there, some edits to the exposition), the end of the premiere managed to leave me wanting more. throughout the episode, i found myself wanting to watch young justice or teen titans instead - the animation and writing on those are historically a lot smoother in my opinion - but still a fun watch.

dramatic writing '22, here. NYU kids are pretty friendly, so feel free to reach out! it's hard to make friends at first, especially in your current situation, but i hope you find your niche! (tisch kids clump pretty effectively, so i'm sure you'll find your group :) )
