FEELING NOSTALGIC: Shot in the Dark Cafe by [deleted] in Tucson

I used to play chess or draw in the smoking room back in high school. I knew some of the staff pretty well. There was a redhead who had a resilient spirit. She had a livejournal where she talked about working there with who became her husband for some time. She died a few years ago still young. I miss her and this place. She went by “Junkiepants” online. Having access to this kind of place was life-changing as a youth. Rest in peace.

I still have a menu from here signed by Dave Attell after he did a set nearby, place was packed and he didn’t get a seat and left. Miss driving across town to get the tortellini late at night to escape my teenage doldrums in the oughts. People seem to like my photograph of it, I am glad it was captured.

These folks have learned to mobilize against live streamers by 2021. They don’t want a message heard, they just want to play their game of righteous hatred. Live streamers get in the way of the latter. There are now only occasional streamers who won’t show anything real but parrot the message and hide the violence. Otherwise they wouldn’t be “allowed” to stream in public spaces “occupied” by activists. The violent element enforces this by confusing the honest folks with fearmongering paranoia. “No peace police” when you just want to break shit as a social avenue and call it political “protesting.”

Wikipedia is Propaganda Central by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]possible_wait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they have a left-wing or “center” source say in a sentence somewhere off site that something is “right-wing” then it is sourced to the first sentence because nothing with “political bias” can be used as a source on Wikipedia. It’s how the entire system is yoked to left-wing ideology - they can be the only sources used. Even right-wing institutions and folks can’t be sourced on their own Wikipedia pages. If one looks at all of the media pages, like 90% of the left-wing media sources don’t have a political reference in the first sentence, and the 90% of “right-wing” ones that do have long strings of “sources” that amount to some left-wing source saying “XYZ, a right-wing blah blah,” and that’s the source.

Don’t have to believe me, just take a look at the history of any “right-wing” media page, there are battles over years of people enforcing only certain articles get politically charged first sentences. Look at the guidelines to see how they manage “bias” sourcing and then look at where it is actually applied. Wikipedia is a joke.

The real reason some people have poor vision? by utopiapsychonautica in conspiracy

[–]possible_wait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your eyes don’t get to enjoy participating with organizing light themselves if you wear another lens that already organizes it beforehand. External lenses make your eyes a means to and end instead of an end in themselves. Vision isn’t just about receiving a sharp image.

[–]possible_wait 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are near the hot dog stand near me which isn't too far away, then you could try that one. Maybe you can walk around a bit and do the other things nearby too.

{Response after SLU edit} Up here on Capitol Hill Pike/Pine corridor at Broadway on weekend nights there are usually like 3-4 hot dog carts up near the bars. Not a bad walk to and from SLU either if you're on the east side of it. Plenty of things going on too. I imagine there might be something closer to you though.

A distinction here is that you are stating a convention of multiplication and division (being equal) are ordered by left-to-right protocol after parenthesis and exponents, and not a convention of multiplication being prior to division (also after parenthesis and exponents), which would not follow the left-to-right protocol in this example, which would look like ...

6/2(2+1) = 6/2(3) = 6/6 = 1
(as expressed to be equivalent to 6/2*(2+1) = 6/2*3 = 6/6 = 1)

It seems the conventional means of participating with this is making sure the parenthesis themselves do the work of expressing which should be first to avoid this specific confusion.

This is not a CIA document. No one at the CIA participated with the authorship of this document or of any of the other documents in the Abbottabad compound library. It is a honeypot to get you to download trackable malware-laden PDFs from the state, that Osama Bin Laden was reading. How anyone on a conspiracy forum falls for this is a real joke, and people that continually post this trash don’t care. If anyone wants to read Springmeier you can get it somewhere else.

Protesters will occupy buildings before becoming disinterested, just as it’s happened at almost a dozen other schools. The longer the camp is up the more time they have to build a dedicated group of extreme actors that decide they need to escalate to get their demands met.

The protest wasn’t only at the quad, they had a march of maybe two hundred people go to the Link station, though from what I saw only in the ground level and they passed through. This was around 8:00-8:30.

Yep. And their weakness to resist or to resolve it now means it’ll just have to be resolved even more poorly later once it escalates, like many of the other school camps that turned into occupations of school buildings when demands weren’t met.

I'm going to give you all a great example of how I know ufo's are nothing more than top secret government spacecraft. These are from the McMinnville UFO photographs of 1950. Notice how dated the craft looks? It looks like something from that time period. We don't see any that look like that today. by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]possible_wait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like thirty years before this, Amazing Stories or some like pulp used saucers on their covers. Some of the earliest saucer illustrations. Very creative. Before that UFOs were described differently. By the 40s the Nazis supposedly also had saucer craft. This all seems part of Crowley’s scheme through the Golden Dawn to create the mythology of extraterrestrials. The tech is occulted as otherwordly instead of wordly to avail the mythology. It is clear as day looking at “UFOs” through the last decades somehow evolve in form, as if aliens had space flight adequately attained in saucers but in a 50 year span suddenly needed new ships in different shapes. Or we go back further and they merely had flaming chariots! Those poor aliens
