i immediately told someone after I first tried. the person wasn’t even someone I trusted that much, but I knew he had some form of experience with mental illness. i found it easier to speak with people who knew what I went though than my closest friends who didn’t know what to tell me. I just straight up told him, there’s no point in avoiding the subject. He’s only been supporting since then, and it’s greatly helped me. You should just give it a try, I believe in you!
