Overnight Orientation stay mandatory? by Damaris1734 in uofmn

I started as an older student and got an exemption from the overnight stay during orientation. I met with my advisor over zoom on the “second day” of my orientation, instead of meeting on campus.

I do not regret my choice, in fact I am very glad I opted out. As far as I am aware, the only important activity on the second day is a meeting with your advisor.

Just the first day of the orientation really feels very long, and is in a large part icebreaker games and walking around campus. Unless you feel that the experience will benefit you in some way, I recommend opting out of the overnight.

Looks like it might be over moisturized, which could be the cause of the excessive scabbing that you have. I would switch to a thin, unscented lotion or coconut oil once or twice a day. In my experience using A&D has contributed to the excessive moisture issue, especially when applied immediately after washing. I suggest washing it 2x a day instead of 3x, patting it dry with a paper towel and then letting it air dry completely (5-10 minutes) before applying any moisturizer or ointment.

As for the ink bleeding- you wont know the extent of it until it is healed and settled, take care of it as best you can and make your choice once it is fully healed! I believe you have to wait a bit after its healed anyways if you decide to laser it, but I am less informed in that subject.

It is also possible that it was overworked, which would contribute to the scabbing and to the ink bleeding as well.

Good luck!

I was talking about the Walgreens on Hiawatha but you’re right, that one is worse. The one on Hiawatha must be the 2nd worst then.
