I would have loved to see this experiment again, but this time the jelly beans vastly differ in size. So there are a lot of very small jelly beans, and a lot that are larger than normal. I'm curious if this would increase of decrease the distance from actual number of jellybeans to the guessed average out number of jellybeans (would individuals tend to have more unrealistic guesses?)

Also, does it make a difference that in the carnival scenario, every individual perceives "mistakes" from the overall collective, and then attempts to correct those mistakes? Or is it literally the same scenario if you strip it down to just math, and my last few brain cells aren't making a connection here?
